"Got an exceptional stylist this time & will try to use her as often as possible. Check out process has a built in tip system that is too much of a forced amount with minimum of $5 ($15 cut has to be really good for a 33% $5 tip). You can override it & enter a different/smaller amount, but makes you feel like a bum regardless of the quality. I certainly want to & don't mind giving a tip in accordance with quality, but a tip via the process it funnels you down to is a real negative. Just one man's opinion. Mom's with 2 or 3 boys are going to find it very expensive."

"I brought my son here several years ago and it was fine until we had 3 consecutive hair cuts where the stylists nicked his ear or neck. Came back a few months ago (birthday coupon) and just requested someone that I recognized from before since that would increase the chances of them doing a good job, which they did. Came back today and requested the same person with an estimated 35 minute wait. About 10 minutes into our wait I overhear a stylist telling another customer that the woman we were waiting on (board estimated 25 minutes at this point) wouldn't be back for another hour. When they were finished with their conversation I confirmed what I heard and she said "Yes, she went to lunch late." Why didn't anyone working see the board and feel compelled to inform me it would be significantly longer? I'm very annoyed and will just wait for Central City Barber to open tomorrow as I've never had any issues there."
